Content: Public policies in the field of scientific research work in the European Research Area and also in Slovenia require the sharing of research results according to the principles of FAIR. This way of sharing research results enables the reproducibility of research and the use of results in other research. In current practice, researchers have mostly shared research results in the form of scientific publications (articles, monographs, publications in anthologies, etc.). Sharing according to FAIR principles, however, presupposes that researchers provide access to other forms of results, including research data. The FAIR principles will be presented and ways to verify the assurance of the FAIR principles when sharing research results.
