STATEMENT OF AVAILABILITY

The Central Technical Library of the University of Ljubljana makes the website projekt-spoznaj.si accessible in accordance with the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 30/18).

Accessibility adjustments

Some adjustments have been made to meet legal accessibility requirements, such as:

  • responsive design (the website adapts to the size of the user's screen without losing structure or content),
  • the website contains a dedicated plugin that enables various types of accessibility flexibility,
  • letters can be enlarged without losing content or functionality,
  • using the functionality of browsers, the website can also be used only with the keyboard (navigation without a mouse),
  • appropriate color contrasts (between text and background),
  • the websites do not contain flickering content and are safe for use by all groups of users, for whom flashy changes and flickering elements could cause reactions or attacks,
  • it is possible to equip images with alternative text,
  • it is possible to use different levels of addresses,
  • the site has a sitemap created,
  • the website works predictably.

COMPLIANCE LEVEL: The projekt-spoznaj.si website is partially compliant with The Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications due to the exceptions listed below.

Unavailable content

We regularly monitor and improve the accessibility of the projekt-spoznaj.si website. Nevertheless, some of the published content does not yet meet all the accessibility requirements as defined by the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications.

Such contents are:

  • Some photos are not equipped with alt text. These are mainly photos of a decorative nature, or those that visually complement the text. It is thus possible to access the text without using photos or their replacement texts.
  • Some PDF files, which are scanned documents, are not accessible to users with certain types of disabilities.
  • Access to some content is not possible via the menu. Instead, access is provided via the sitemap.
  • Some complex data tables do not meet some accessibility requirements.
  • Title levels are skipped in some cases to better display elements on the page.
  • The focus indicator is not visible on the element that allows searching through web pages. Given that all website content is accessible in a different way and that it is a non-customizable part of the website theme, customizing this element would require a disproportionate burden.
