Lecturer: Assoc. dr. Ana Slavec, University of Primorska

Content: The aim of the lecture is to present the key concepts of data management planning and the resources available to researchers throughout the life cycle of data. They will learn what a research data management plan should contain and the principles of findability, accessibility, interoperability and reusability (FAIR), which are key to the responsible sharing of research data with the wider scientific community, which is becoming an increasingly important requirement of research funders. The event is organized by the University of Primorska as part of the SPOZNAJ project (Support for introducing the principles of open science in Slovenia). It's about the first event in the Open UP series - UP lectures on open science. Lectures on open access, copyright management, and citizen science continue in the fall semester.
