In the beginning, we will present an overview of the situation in the field of handling research data at Slovenian public research organizations and its basis on the example of the rules of the Doctoral School of the University of Ljubljana. We will present the Rulebook on doctoral studies at UL and the plan for handling research data for doctoral students of UL according to the provisions of the rulebook. In the second part, teaching staff and doctoral students will present their experiences in this regard, as well as possible recommendations and instructions.

The presentation is intended for doctoral students and mentors at UL and doctoral schools of other institutions as an example of good practice at UL, which also brings many challenges.
