Content: The lecture will highlight the crucial importance of using appropriate licenses, such as Creative Commons, to enable open access to scientific works, while emphasising the importance of protecting researchers’ copyright. It will be explained how to properly manage copyright in research data and publications, and how to find a balance between open science and intellectual property protection.
